CBI is No. 3 Most Outstanding CFI in PH

August 15, 2014 | Cantilan Bank, Inc. was once again awarded by the Landbank as one of the top Countryside Financial Institutions (CFIs) in the country. CBI received the award for third most outstanding CFI in the Philippines and hailed as the best CFI intermediary with the lowest pass-on rate. Among all the financial institutions throughout the Philippine countryside, Cantilan Bank offers the most reasonable interest rates in all of its loan products.
This is the fourth year in a row that CBI was recognized by the Landbank for its great contributions in providing excellent financial services to rural areas.
The award was received by CBI’s Chairperson, Lt. Gen. William K. Hotchkiss III (Ret.) during the awarding ceremony on August 15, 2014 at the Diosdado Macapagal Hall, Landbank Plaza in Malate, Manila.
The awarding ceremony was attended by the Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP), Cooperative Banks Federation of the Philippines (BangKoop), Chamber of Thrift Banks, other government agencies and senior officers of Landbank headed by their President and CEO, Gilda E. Pico.
