CBI awarded as one of the Top 5 Outstanding CFIs

Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) recognized Cantilan Bank, Inc. (CBI) as one of the Top 5 Outstanding Countryside Financial Institutions in the country. The award was presented during the LBP’s Gawad CFI 2013 awarding ceremony held on August 28, 2013 at LBP – Plaza, Malate Manila.
For fifteen years, Landbank has been recognizing its CFI partners which serve as models of excellence in rural financial services. The Gawad CFI awarding ceremony was attended by the members of Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP), Chamber of Thrift Banks, other government agencies, and senior officers of Landbank.
Cantilan Bank has been awarded two years in a row by Land Bank of the Philippines as the Most Outstanding Bank in the Regional level and as the Second (2nd) Most Outstanding Rural Bank in the National Level. 2010 was the first year that CBI participated in this prestigious award. CBI was also awarded as the 2010 Best in Reciprocal Business and 2011 Best in Capital Build-up for its continuous effort to strengthen its capital base.
