2011's Most Outstanding Rural Bank in Caraga Region
![]() LandBank of the Philippines held its Annual National Convention at the LandBank Plaza, Malate, Manila on August 28, 2012. During the affair, LBP paid tribute to its outstanding partner countryside financial institutions (CFIs) for their valuable support to the Bank’s various credit programs aimed at promoting countryside development.
Being one of LBP’s most effective and active partners in advancing best practices in countryside credit delivery, Cantilan Bank, represented by its Chairman Lt. Gen. William K. Hotchkiss III (Ret.) and Executive Vice President Brig. Charles Y. Hotchkisss (Ret.) received these three prestigious awards: • MOST OUTSTANDING CFI - Second Place (National Level) for the Bank’s accomplishment and lasting contributions to countryside development; • MOST OUTSTANDING CFI - Region XIII for the Bank’s outstanding accomplishment and lasting contributions in its area of operations; • BEST IN CAPITAL BUILD-UP (National Level) - for the success of its continuing efforts to strengthen its capital base; “We give premium to our partner CFIs and to their contribution in effectively bringing financial assistance to small borrowers even in far-flung areas,” said Landbank President and CEO Gilda E. Pico in her speech. For 14 years now, LBP has been recognizing its CFI partneres which serve as models of excellence in rural financial services. |
