CBI honored with Two Distinguished Partner Awards by SBCorp

Cantilan Bank, Inc. (CBI) was honored by the Small Business Corporation
(SBCorp.) during the annual Gawad MSME Awards as one of its distinguished
partners in empowering the country’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
(MSMEs) through financial enhancement services. MSMEs serve as the country’s
major economic growth driver that give people access to various opportunities.
CBI received the awards for being an SBCorp.’s Distinguished Partner in
Credit Guarantees and Distinguished Partner in Risk-Based Lending. It was the
third straight year that CBI was recognized for its great contribution in the
development of the country’s business industry including its fundamental role
to the communities where it operates.
The awards were received by CBI’s Acting President, Brig. Gen. Charles
Y. Hotchkiss on July 29, 2014, in line with the SBCorp.’s 23rd anniversary
celebration at the Hotel Intercontinental, Makati. SBCorp. yearly honors its
outstanding partners who have given their utmost support in achieving its development
goals and financial targets.
The 2014 Gawad MSME Awards was attended by the distinguished partners
of the state-owned Small Business Corporation led by its Chairman and CEO,
Ramon M. Quesada, Ph.D.
