Cantilan Bank, Inc. (CBI), one of the country’s top rural banks, was awarded as the No. 1 Corporate Taxpayer in the province of Surigao del Sur and one of the top four corporate taxpayers in the entire Caraga Region by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). The awarding ceremony was held simultaneous with the 109th BIR Anniversary Celebration at Luciana Convention Center, Butuan City, on August 8, 2013.
The bank’s outstanding contribution to the 2012 collection efforts of the Revenue District office No. 106 in Tandag City led to its recognition as a steadfast ally and great supporter to the bureau’s achievement of its collection goal in Surigao del Sur and of the entire region as a whole.
